South River Gardens Vacation Packages

There was mold and rust in the rooms. The sheets had a musty odor. Our party had to leave and we have not yet been reimbursed.

Great location

Great location- very good staff - very clean rooms- quiet- excellent buffet breakfast

This is a very clean and modern property in a good location, close to GT, many nice restaurants, and Piedmont Park. For the most part, the staff was friendly and helpful. If one incident hadn't occurred, they may have gotten five stars. At 4:00am there were two people outside our room talking loudly in the hallway. It woke me up, unfortunately, but I let it go for a bit thinking they would head to their rooms and it would be over. Instead, it turned into one of the guys talking ON SPEAKER PHONE for the next 45 minutes. I called the front desk three times to get it taken care of. The first time, they said they would take care of it but did nothing. I called again about 10 minutes later and they said they would send somebody up. They did, but they must have just told the guy to "keep it down" because all that happened was that he talked a few decibels lower but continued his conversation. I was livid by this point. I called a third time and begged them to escort him to his room. This is completely unacceptable as they clearly post "quiet hours" from 9:00pm to 8:00am! Those hours are in no way lenient, I would say pretty restrictive, and yet if they don't enforce them at 4:00AM then what's the point? The fact that I had to call three times to get them to take care of this is absurd. Too bad this man chose to be so disrespectful and unaware, but the hotel could have managed it better. IMO, I should get comped and the man should be charged.
